Powerful Enterprise Switch Models
The EdgeSwitch 48-500W PoE switch has 48 GigabitEthernet ports, each capable of delivering power according to Passive PoE 24V and 802.3af/at standards. At the same time, the network interface of the device also includes two pairs of slots for SFP and SFP+ modules respectively. With their help it is possible to provide high-speed communication between the switch and a higher-level switch or router. With a maximum power consumption of 500W, the EdgeSwitch 48-500W is equipped with a cooling system. Thanks to the timely heat dissipation, even under maximum load, the device remains operational and functions normally.
Taking into account the possible sphere of application of the switch, the developers have put in it a rather powerful computing part that provides packet processing at a speed of 104 Mpps. This is enough for uninterrupted operation of the switching node, which is especially important in networks with a large traffic flow.
Since EdgeSwitch 48-500W is a rackmount model, the front panel has LED indicators for quick assessment of the device status. In particular, they can be used to check the PoE supply on the connector, speed, connectivity and activity.

Convenient PoE+ Support
The EdgeSwitch® features auto-sensing IEEE 802.3af/at and 24V passive PoE to power multiple devices on the network.
Optical Fiber Backhaul
Two SFP ports support uplinks of up to 1 Gbps. For high-capacity uplinks, each 48-port model includes two SFP+ ports for uplinks of up to 10 Gbps.
Advanced UI
The comprehensive UI is easy to learn and allows administrators to configure and monitor features in a graphical user interface. For advanced users, a Command-Line Interface (CLI) is available through telnet and SSH.
