Ubiquiti UniFi Switch Flex 8 PoE 2.5G - flexible, 8-port 2.5 GbE PoE++ switch with a 10 GbE RJ45/SFP+ combination uplink port that can be powered with PoE+++ or an AC power adapter.

The Ubiquiti UniFi Switch Flex 2.5G PoE (USW-Flex-2.5G-8-PoE) is built to deliver superior network performance for both residential and commercial settings. Featuring eight 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) PoE++ output ports, it provides fast and reliable connectivity for devices such as access points, IP cameras, and VoIP phones. For network expansion and seamless integration with existing infrastructure, it includes a versatile 10 GbE RJ45/SFP+ combo uplink port.

Designed with power flexibility in mind, the USW-Flex-2.5G-8-PoE supports a range of PoE input standards to meet varying power needs. When powered through the 10 GbE RJ45 uplink port with PoE+++, the switch can supply up to 76W of total PoE power. With PoE++, it delivers up to 46W, and with PoE+, up to 16W. For maximum power output of 196W, an optional 210W AC power adapter can be used—ideal for powering multiple high-consumption devices simultaneously.

Enhanced Switching Features

Beyond its robust hardware, the USW-Flex-2.5G-8-PoE delivers a comprehensive suite of Layer 2 switching capabilities that boost network efficiency and security. These include Spanning Tree Protocol (STP/RSTP) with customizable priorities and per-port disablement, storm control, multicast/broadcast rate limiting, flow control, jumbo frame support, egress rate limiting, proprietary loop protection, port isolation, and port mirroring. These features enable administrators to fine-tune traffic flow and maintain a stable, high-performance network.

Compact and Durable Design

The switch is housed in a compact, rugged polycarbonate chassis, measuring 212.9 x 99.4 x 33.5 mm and weighing 567 grams. It supports flexible installation options, including wall mounting (kit included) and DIN rail mounting (sold separately), making it suitable for a wide range of deployment scenarios. With operational support for ambient temperatures between -20°C to 45°C and humidity levels of 10–90% non-condensing, the USW-Flex-2.5G-8-PoE is designed to perform reliably in various environments.
