The LiteBeam AC LR is designed to seamlessly integrate within Ubiquiti Networks' airMAX ecosystem, particularly focusing on compatibility with other airMAX ac series devices. This includes various models of Ubiquiti's outdoor wireless access points, bridges, and CPE devices that also use the airMAX ac technology. When paired with these devices, the LiteBeam AC LR can create high-throughput, long-distance wireless links, making it suitable for a wide range of applications, from broadband internet service provision to connecting remote locations.This harmonization ensures that when deployed in a network, the LiteBeam AC LR can communicate effectively with other devices that support the airMAX ac protocol, enabling robust point-to-point (PtP) and point-to-multipoint (PtMP) configurations. Please also note, that compatibility with older airMAX devices (those using the 802.11n standard) might be limited. For optimal performance, it is recommended to use devices within the same technological generation.
In addition, please keep in mind that LiteBeam AC LR does not natively integrate with the UniFi series, which is managed through the UniFi Controller software. UniFi products target indoor and managed Wi-Fi applications rather than long-distance outdoor links, and they operate on a different management platform.
