The Ubiquiti Cloud Gateway Fiber (UCG-Fiber) is purpose-built for high-performance networking, designed to meet the complex demands of modern enterprises. It includes dual WAN ports—one 10G SFP+ and one 10 GbE RJ45—offering flexible, high-speed internet connectivity. On the LAN side, it features a 10G SFP+ port and an integrated switch with four 2.5 GbE RJ45 ports, one of which supports PoE+. This setup allows for easy integration into current network infrastructures and supports bandwidth-intensive applications, making it well-suited for scalable business environments.

The UCG-Fiber also includes comprehensive VPN and SD-WAN support, with license-free SD-WAN enabling efficient and cost-effective site-to-site connections for distributed networks.

Enhanced Security Capabilities

Security is central to the UCG-Fiber’s architecture. It features a stateful firewall and an advanced Layer 7 application-aware firewall for precise traffic control. Deep packet inspection (DPI) and traffic classification enable detailed oversight and management of data traffic. With built-in intrusion prevention and detection systems (IPS/IDS) powered by CyberSecure and leveraging over 55,000 threat signatures, the UCG-Fiber delivers strong defense against network threats. It supports a wide range of VPN protocols—IPsec, OpenVPN, WireGuard, and L2TP—offering flexible options for secure remote connectivity. Additionally, the Teleport VPN feature enables hassle-free, secure connections between remote users and the main office network.

High-Performance Hardware

The UCG-Fiber is equipped for demanding use cases, featuring a quad-core ARM® Cortex®-A73 processor clocked at 2.2 GHz and 3 GB of RAM, ensuring smooth performance in data-intensive scenarios. Despite its powerful capabilities, it remains energy-efficient, consuming up to 29.4W (excluding PoE). It comes with a 54V DC/1.1A power adapter for dependable operation. Configuration and management are accessible via Ethernet or Bluetooth, offering administrators flexibility. Its compact desktop design supports convenient deployment across various environments—from home offices to corporate IT setups.
