The UniFi Switch Pro 8 PoE (model USW-Pro-8-POE) is a compact yet powerful managed PoE switch, purpose-built for seamless integration within the UniFi ecosystem. Designed for small to mid-sized businesses, demanding home setups, and enterprise deployments, it offers advanced Layer 3 features, dependable performance, and centralized management through the UniFi Network application.
This switch features eight Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports, including six PoE/PoE+ ports and two PoE++ ports capable of delivering up to 60W—ideal for powering high-demand devices like PTZ cameras and UniFi access points. It also includes two 10G SFP+ uplink ports for high-speed fiber connections.
With a non-blocking throughput of 28 Gbps, a switching capacity of 56 Gbps, and a forwarding rate of 41.664 Mpps, it ensures efficient, congestion-free data handling. It supports in-band Ethernet management and is easily monitored via the UniFi Network interface.
The unit delivers up to 120W total PoE power, with per-port output of 15W (PoE), 30W (PoE+), and 60W (PoE++), all powered by a built-in AC/DC PSU supporting 100–240V input. The switch consumes up to 30W excluding PoE loads.
Rugged and Rack-Ready Design
Encased in a durable metal and polycarbonate chassis, the switch measures 200 x 248 x 44 mm, weighs 2.1 kg, and supports standard rack mounting. It operates reliably in conditions from -5°C to 45°C and 10–90% humidity (non-condensing). Certifications include CE, FCC, and IC.
UniFi Network Application Support
The UniFi Switch Pro 8 PoE is fully managed via the UniFi Network Application (version 7.5.176 or later), offering remote access, configuration, and monitoring through an intuitive interface available on desktop or mobile devices.
