Ubiquiti Introduces LTU Rocket®, the first Base-Station Point-to-Multi-Point (PtMP) radio in its LTU ™ product family. Operating in the 5 GHz band, the LTU Rocket is a spectrally efficient, interference-resistant PtMP AP specifically designed for wireless Internet service providers (WISPs).

Utilizing Ubiquiti's patented LTU technology, LTU Rocket is a 5 GHz Point-to-MultiPoint (PtMP) access point with 2+ Mpps performance, proprietary RF filtering and flexible GPS synchronization for superior performance. The channel width can vary from 10 to 50 MHz, which allows you to independently configure the frequencies of the TX and RX channels anywhere in the radio frequency range to avoid local interference. A custom coprocessor is included for future performance and feature upgrades.

Functions in the PtMP environment using LTU-Pro, LTU-Lite for subscriber stations.

Superior performance

LTU is a new, patented technology that overcomes the limitations of 802.11 Wi-Fi technology. This allows LTU to deliver significantly better performance than previous AirMAX products based on 802.11 Wi-Fi.

The core LTU Rocket processor delivers low latency, long-distance capability, DFS flexibility, higher output power, and improved receive sensitivity.

Seamless Compatibility

The LTU Rocket is designed to interface with various Ubiquiti antennas to meet the needs of each installation. The radio includes a mounting bracket that allows you to use it with an airMAX® 5 GHz sector antenna or an airMAX Omni antenna to create a 5 GHz PtMP base station. You can even pair three LTU Rocket with an airPrism® 5 GHz 3x30 ° HD sector antenna to deploy co-location.

LTU Rocket also works with any CPE device in the LTU family, such as LTU-Pro.
